Health Minister: Government aims to provide highest quality primary healthcare

Health Minister Sardar Sakhawat Hossain said that the government’s aim is to ensure primary healthcare and provide the highest quality primary healthcare. He said these things at a discussion meeting titled ‘Expansion of Primary Healthcare in Urban Areas’ at a hotel in the capital on Thursday (July 9) morning.
The Health Minister said that the current government is working to improve all types of healthcare at the upazila level. At the same time, he also said that kidney dialysis services are being introduced at the upazila level.
He further said that the government is working more effectively to improve the quality of public healthcare with the help of various international organizations, development partners and donor agencies. The scope of healthcare is being expanded so that no one loses their life due to lack of treatment.
At the same time, he said that ambulance services will be expanded to bring patients to advanced medical centers in all remote areas of the country.
