The government has completely banned the use of the Prime Minister’s picture on banners, festoons and billboards prepared for any government event. At the same time, instructions have been given to clearly highlight the content, objective and message of the event while creating promotional materials.
This instruction was given in a circular issued by the Cabinet Division today, Sunday (June 05). The circular states that the use of the Prime Minister’s picture (in 3D or any other form) on banners, festoons and billboards prepared for any government event is completely prohibited.
It also states that while creating banners, festoons and billboards for government events, priority should be given to the content of the event and necessary and consistent information should be presented.
