172 people hospitalized with dengue
Although no one died of dengue in the last 24 hours, 172 people have been admitted to various hospitals across the country due to dengue during the same period. This information was given in a press release regarding dengue sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (June 28).
It said that among the patients hospitalized with dengue in the last 24 hours, 33 are in Barisal division (outside the City Corporation), 24 in Chittagong division (outside the City Corporation), 27 in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), 24 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 23 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 31 in Khulna division (outside the City Corporation), five in Mymensingh division (outside the City Corporation) and five in Rajshahi division (outside the City Corporation).
In the last 24 hours, 130 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals. This year, a total of 5,356 patients have been discharged from hospitals. This year, a total of 5,800 people have been infected with dengue till June 28. Of these, 62.2 percent are men and 37.8 percent are women. No one has died of dengue in the last 24 hours. This year, a total of 13 people have died of dengue.
From January 1 to December 31, 2025, a total of 1,22,861 people have been infected with dengue and a total of 413 people have died of dengue. From January 1 to December 31, 2024, a total of 1,11,214 people have been infected with dengue and a total of 575 people have died of dengue. From January 1 to December 31, 2023, a total of 1,705 people have died of dengue and a total of 321,179 people have been hospitalized due to dengue.
