Pickup-easybike collision in Madaripur kills 1

One person was killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision between a pickup and an easybike in Rajoir upazila of Madaripur. The accident occurred in the Tatikanda area of ​​Tekerhat-Kabirajpur road on Thursday (June 11) morning.
Locals said that an easybike was going from Kabirajpur towards Tekerhat this morning. On the way, the easybike collided head-on with a pickup coming from the opposite direction in the Tatikanda area. Four people, including the easybike driver, were seriously injured in the collision.
Locals rescued the injured and took them to Rajoir Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared easybike driver Shamim Munshi dead. As the condition of the other three injured was critical, they were sent to Faridpur Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.
The deceased Shamim Munshi is the son of Kashem Munshi of Domrakandi village in Muksudpur upazila of Gopalganj district. In this regard, Rajoir Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sheikh Aminul Islam said, “The pickup involved in the accident has been seized. Further legal action in this incident is under process.”
