Government is interfering in all institutions: Jamaat Ameer

The government is interfering in all institutions as it was not formed according to the will of the people, said opposition leader and Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. And after the mass uprising on the 24th, a government (interim government) was formed based on the people’s wishes, but they too failed to do justice to the people, he said.
The Jamaat Ameer made this comment at the Jamaat’s shadow budget proposal ceremony for the fiscal year 2026-27 in Moghbazar, Dhaka on Tuesday (June 9) afternoon. Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that no budget will be effective if there is no honesty and transparency. The opposition party will propose in parliament to align the fiscal year with the calendar year. The Jamaat Ameer also criticized and called for cooperation if the budget proposal given by them is against the public interest.
