7 more children die of measles and measles symptoms
In the last 24 hours (from 8 am yesterday Wednesday to 8 am today Thursday), seven more children have died of measles and measles symptoms in the country. Of these, three children died of confirmed measles and four children died of measles symptoms. At the same time, information has been received that 1,423 more children across the country have developed measles symptoms. And 208 people have been diagnosed with measles.
This information was given by the Directorate General of Health Services in its regular report on measles today, Thursday (May 21). Meanwhile, the number of patients with measles symptoms has reached 59,279 since March 15. And during this period, measles has been detected in the bodies of 8,275 children. 488 people have died of measles and measles symptoms.
