This information has been given in the warning issued for the country’s inland river ports until 6 pm today, Monday (May 18).
The Meteorological Department has said that temporary gusts or stormy winds may blow from the west or northwest in Mymensingh, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong and Sylhet districts. At this time, the wind speed may be 45 to 60 kilometers per hour. There is also a possibility of rain or rain with thunder.
In this situation, the river ports of the concerned areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1. In addition, the organization has said that storms and rain may continue in all divisions of the country for the next few days. There is also a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in some places.
