Syndicates and extortion are creating instability in the market: Opposition leader

The country’s market is unstable due to middlemen and extortionists, said opposition leader and Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman. He said this after visiting the Mirpur Shah Ali Wholesale Market this Tuesday (May 12) morning.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said that the prices of goods have increased artificially due to syndicates. He urged the government to take initiatives to control the market. The Jamaat Ameer also said that the opposition will be vocal in and outside the parliament to make the market situation bearable for the people.
