Today’s Gold Price: April 25, 2026
Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has announced a reduction in the price of gold in the country’s market. The price of gold has been reduced by Tk 3,266 per bhori due to the decline in the price of acidic (pure) gold in the global and local markets. As a result, the new price of gold per bhori of 22-carat gold has been fixed at Tk 2,46,927.
This new price came into effect from 10 am last Thursday (April 23). Today, Saturday (April 25), gold will be sold at the same price.
At the new fixed price—
22-carat gold: Tk 2,46,927
21-carat: Tk 2,35,671
18-carat: Tk 2,220
Traditional: Tk 1,64,521
Along with gold, the price of silver has also been reduced. The price of 22-carat silver has been reduced by Tk 350 to Tk 5,715 per bhori. Besides, 21-carat silver is being sold at Tk 5,424, 18-carat at Tk 4,666 and traditional silver at Tk 3,499. According to Bajus, gold prices have been adjusted 56 times so far this year—32 of which have increased and 24 have decreased. Silver prices have been adjusted 35 times during the same period. It is worth noting that although gold prices were increased on April 15, the decision to reduce prices again within just a week has given relief to common buyers.
