Bangladeshi father and son die on New York roads

Four people, including a father and son from the same family from Muradnagar, Comilla, died in a horrific road accident in the Clavera area of ​​Albany on Tuesday evening (April 7).
According to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, the horrific accident occurred when a Toyota Prius lost control in the State Route Nine-H area and hit a Toyota Crown coming from the opposite direction. Mohammad Heramon (60) and his son Mohammad Nazmul Rubel (29) of Pir Kashimpur village of Bangra Bazar police station in Muradnagar upazila of Comilla died on the spot.
Miraculously, Heramon’s daughter Fatima Akhter and her one-year-old child are undergoing treatment in a critical condition in the hospital. This unexpected tragic incident has devastated their family on their way to Buffalo on business. All the deceased lived in the Bronx area of ​​New York. They were familiar faces at the local Baitul Aman Islamic Center. Prominent social worker Sheikh Abul Hossain said, “They lived in my house. I can’t even imagine that such a lively person would leave like this. Today, the entire Bronx is mourning.” Meanwhile, when the news of the death reached Pir Kashimpur village, a heartbreaking scene unfolded there. The sky and air of the village became heavy with the cries of relatives. In an instant, the relatives were speechless after losing their father and brother. Their funeral is scheduled to be held today at the local Baitul Aman Islamic Center. This accident reminded us how uncertain life is in a busy life abroad.
