Gold prices increase again
Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has decided to increase the price of gold in the country’s market. This time, the organization has increased the price of 22-carat gold by Tk 6,590 per bhori to Tk 2,52,409. BAJUS announced this information in a notification on Wednesday (April 8) morning. The new price will be effective from 10 am today.
The organization said that the price of acid gold (pure gold) has increased in the local market. As a result, the new price of gold has been determined considering the overall situation.
According to the new price, the price of 22-carat gold per bhori (11.664 grams) will be Tk 2,52,409. The price of 21-carat gold per bhori is Tk 2,40,920, the price of 18-carat gold per bhori is Tk 2,65,111 and the price of traditional gold per bhori is Tk 1,68,195.
