Gold price increases by Tk 3,266 per bhori
Gold prices have increased again in the country’s market. The price of the best quality or 22-carat gold has increased by Tk 3,266 to Tk 2,44,711 per bhori. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced the increase in gold prices in a press release on Tuesday (March 31). The new prices have come into effect from 10 am.
According to the new prices, the price of 21-carat gold has been fixed at Tk 2,33,572 per bhori, the price of 18-carat gold at Tk 2,213 and the price of traditional gold at Tk 1,63,063 per bhori. Accordingly, BAJUS has adjusted gold prices 50 times so far this year. Out of these, the price has been increased 29 times and reduced 21 times. Last year, the price was adjusted 17 times during the same period.
