3 Easy Bike Passengers Killed in Truck Accident in Natore

Three easy bike passengers were killed in a truck accident in Lalpur, Natore. At least 4 others were injured. The accident occurred at around 7 am today (March 24) in Nabinagar village of the upazila. The deceased were identified as Jahidul Islam (50), Monirul (27) and Babul Hossain (25), residents of Chhota Barakaya village of Durduria union of the same upazila.
Lalpur Police Station OC Mujibur Rahman said that on the way from Lalpur to Ishwardi in the morning, an easy bike was hit by a truck coming from the opposite direction in the Nabinagar area. In this, easy bike passenger Jahidul Islam died on the spot. At that time, 6 more people were injured. On receiving the information, the fire brigade and police went to the spot and rescued the injured.
Later, two more people named Monirul and Babul died on the way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. The remaining 4 injured people were admitted to Rajshahi Medical College. The truck driver and his assistant fled immediately after the accident. The vehicle involved in the accident has been seized. Legal action is being taken in this incident.
