Gold prices rise again in 24 hours

Gold prices have risen again in the country’s market in the space of 24 hours. Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has increased the price of a 22-carat gold bar by Tk 3,324 to Tk 2,77,428. BAJUS gave this information in a notification on Tuesday (March 3) morning. The new price has come into effect from 10 am today.
The notification said that the price of pure gold (pure gold) has increased. As a result, the new price of gold has been determined considering the overall situation. Earlier, the price of gold was increased on Monday after last Saturday. As a result, the price of good quality 22-carat gold has stood at Tk 2,74,104 per bar. Earlier, the price of gold was increased twice last week. In the previous two rounds, the price was increased by Tk 5,482. This time, it has increased by more than Tk 4,000 in one round.
Accordingly, the price of gold has been adjusted 36 times in the country’s market so far this year. Where the price has been increased by 24 points; reduced by 12 points. And in the last 2025, the price of gold has been adjusted a total of 93 times in the country’s market; where the price has been increased 64 times and reduced 29 times. Along with the increase in the price of gold, the price of silver has also increased this time. A 22-carat bhari is being sold at an increase of 175 taka to 7,173 taka. In addition, a 21-carat bhari is being sold at 6,882 taka, an 18-carat bhari at 5,890 taka and a traditional bhari at 4,432 taka.
