2 killed in Satkhira as Nasimon overturns

Two cattle traders were killed when a Nasimon loaded with cows overturned in Patkelghata, Satkhira. Another was seriously injured. The incident took place in Kumira Baligara area on Thursday (February 26) morning. The deceased were Ishar Ali and Motaleb. They are residents of Dhulihar Union in Satkhira Sadar. Both are cattle traders.
Locals said that the Nasimon was carrying four cows from Dhulihar area to Khulna’s Kharnia cattle market. Suddenly, the tire burst and the Nasimon overturned into a ditch. Cattle trader Ishar Ali was crushed to death on the spot. Another trader Motaleb died while undergoing treatment at Satkhira Medical College Hospital. Patkelghata police station said that the body has been recovered. The injured person is undergoing treatment.
