Two killed in Laguna-minibus collision in Jurain

Two people were killed in a collision between a Laguna and a Bahadurshah minibus in Jurain, Jatrabari, in the capital. The accident occurred on Sunday (February 23) morning.
The deceased were identified as Azizul Islam (58) and Saiful Islam (55). Initially, locals rescued the two in critical condition and took them to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital. The doctor on duty declared them dead there.
DMCH Hospital Police Station Acting Inspector Md. Faruk confirmed the incident. He said the bodies have been kept at the DMCH Hospital morgue.
The deceased Azizul lived at house number 33/12 on Satish Sarkar Road in Gendaria and was the son of Salam Mridha. He worked in a private company. On the other hand, Saiful Islam lived next to BIT Road in Gendaria. He worked in a workshop.
