Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has decided to reduce the price of gold in the domestic market. This time, the price of 22-carat gold has been reduced by Tk 3,266 to Tk 2,55,558. The organization gave this information in a notification on Wednesday (February 18) morning. The new price will be effective from 9:30 am today.
It is said that the price of acid gold (pure gold) has decreased in the local market. As a result, the new price of gold has been determined considering the overall situation. According to the new price, the price of 22-carat gold per bhori (11.664 grams) in the domestic market will be Tk 2,55,558. In addition, the price of 21-carat gold per bhori has been determined at Tk 2,43,953, the price of 18-carat gold per bhori has been determined at Tk 2,09,77 and the price of traditional gold per bhori has been determined at Tk 1,71,111. Previously, Bajaus last adjusted gold prices in the domestic market on February 17.
