2 killed in explosion while making cocktails in Chapainawabganj

Two people were killed in an explosion while making cocktails at home in Chapainawabganj. At least three others were injured in the same incident. The incident took place at around 5 am today (February 14) in Pathapara village of Charbagdanga union of the upazila. The injured are Md. Bazlur Rahman (20), Md. Minhaj (22) and Md. Shuvo (20). However, the names and identities of the deceased are not yet known.
Additional Superintendent of Police of Chapainawabganj district NM Wasim Firoz confirmed the matter. He said, initially it is believed that two people were killed on the spot in the explosion while making bombs at night. The brick wall of the house collapsed in the explosion. The tin roof was blown off. Further legal action is under process in this incident.
