Bloody body recovered from abandoned City Corporation Market in Pallabi

Police have recovered the bloody body of a man (40) from the abandoned City Corporation Market building in Section No. 11 area under Pallabi police station in the capital. The body was recovered on Friday (January 16) night. Initially, the identity of the deceased could not be confirmed.
Pallabi Police Station SI Tohakul Islam told us that the police reached the spot around 11 pm after receiving information. The deceased had injury marks on his head. His head was in a raised position. Members of the army and other security forces are present at the spot. The exact cause of death is being investigated.
