No dengue deaths in 24 hours, 52 hospitalized

No one died of dengue in the country in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 52 dengue patients have been admitted to various hospitals. This information was given in a dengue-related press release sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (January 11).
It said that among the patients admitted to the hospital due to dengue in the last 24 hours, 13 are in Barisal division (outside the City Corporation), 21 in Chittagong division (outside the City Corporation), 12 in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), 8 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 6 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 3 in Rajshahi division and 1 in Sylhet division. In addition, a total of 577 people have been infected with dengue so far this year. Of these, 62.4 percent are men and 37.6 percent are women.
