Protest in Paris demanding justice for the murder of Shaheed Osman Hadi

A protest rally has been held in the French capital, Paris, demanding justice for the murder of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi, one of the faces of the July Revolution and the spokesperson of the Inqilab Manch. The National Citizen Party (NCP) Diaspora Alliance France branch organized the rally at the city’s historic Republic Square at 6 pm local time on Monday (December 22).
The rally was held under the chairmanship of NCP Diaspora Alliance France branch convener Chowdhury Mohammad Iftesham. The program was conducted by the branch’s member secretary Md. Safwat Hossain (Rabbi Raj). The speakers at the rally called for the immediate implementation of the three-point demands announced by the Inqilab Manch and demanded the immediate arrest, trial and exemplary punishment of the killers of Shaheed Osman Hadi. Joint convener Monowar Patwari said in his speech, “Martyr Hadi is a unique inspiration in the freedom struggle. He will show us the way for ages in the fight against hegemony.”
In the president’s speech, Chowdhury Mohammad Iftesham said, “As the successors of Martyr Hadi, we will maintain the continuity of the movement and struggle at home and abroad. The activities of the Inqilab Mancha must be further expanded and organized.” The speakers participating in the rally alleged that some active individuals in the country and abroad are creating various misleading stories and dramas to protect the murderers. However, they expressed hope that the people and the July fighters will jointly resist this conspiracy.
