No dengue deaths in last 24 hours, 165 people hospitalized
No dengue deaths were reported across the country in the last 24 hours. However, 165 people have been hospitalized due to the Aedes mosquito-borne disease during this period. This information was given in a report sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Monday (December 22).
It has been reported that among the dengue patients in the last 24 hours, 8 people were in Barisal division, 27 in Chittagong division, 24 in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), 43 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 33 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 10 in Khulna division, 13 in Mymensingh division, 4 in Rajshahi division, 2 in Rangpur division and one in Sylhet division have been hospitalized.
In the last 24 hours, 240 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country. Along with this, 1 lakh 674 people have been discharged from hospitals this year. A total of 412 people have died of dengue so far this year. And this year, 1 lakh 1 thousand 956 people have been admitted to the hospital due to dengue.
