3 women killed in tractor accident in Comilla

Three women were killed after being crushed under a tractor in Titas upazila of Comilla. A child was injured in the accident. The accident took place in the Rajapur area of ​​the upazila today (December 4). The deceased were identified as Rina Akhter (35), wife of Shukkur Ali of Rajapur village, Rozina Akhter (30), wife of Emon Mia, and Shamchunnahar (40), wife of Faruk Mia.
Police and locals said that the three women went to bathe in the river this afternoon. At one point, a sand-laden tractor coming at a reckless speed lost control and fell into the river. At that time, they were crushed under the tractor and died on the spot. Later, their bodies were recovered with the help of the fire service and locals after receiving information. However, the fire service is investigating whether anyone else was crushed under the tractor.
