4 members of the same family burnt in AC explosion in the capital

Four members of the same family were burnt in an air conditioning (AC) explosion in a house in Jatrabari in the capital. They have been rescued and admitted to the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute.
The accident occurred on the 7th floor of a building next to the Lichubagan Mosque in Dhalpur, Boubazar at around 1:30 am last Friday (September 19).
The burnt victims are Md. Tuhin Hossain (38), his wife Iba Akhter (30) and two sons Touhid (7) and Tanvir (9). Tuhin Hossain works at a mobile servicing shop in Motaleb Plaza in the capital. Their home is in Madaripur Sadar Upazila.
It is learnt that all four members of the family live in the house. Everyone was asleep last Friday night. At that time, the AC exploded. The house caught fire immediately and all four were burnt. Tenants from the area came and put out the fire and took them to the Burn Institute that night. Doctors said that the condition of all four of them is serious.
