4 killed in head-on clash, shadow of mourning in Brahmanbaria
Four people were killed in a head-on collision between a CNG and a motorcycle in Bijoynagar, Brahmanbaria. The accident occurred in the Rampur area of the Dhaka-Sylhet highway at around 4:30 pm on Sunday (August 3). Witnesses said that two motorcycles were heading towards Dhaka. On the way, a motorcycle collided head-on with a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction in the Rampura area. Later, the other motorcycle behind lost control and collided with the CNG and motorcycle involved in the accident. Four people were killed on the spot. Another seriously injured person has been taken to the hospital. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khatihata Highway Police Station Md. Jahangir Alam said that the highway police are working at the scene. The names and addresses of the deceased are not yet known.
