Madrasa student killed in easy bike accident in Chuadanga

An 8-year-old child named Tushar was killed in an easy bike accident in Damurhuda, Chuadanga. The incident took place in Napitkhali village of the upazila on Wednesday (July 16) afternoon. The deceased Tushar is the son of Mohidul Islam of Napitkhali village. He is a student of a local madrasa. Locals said that Tushar was playing on the paved road in front of his house on Wednesday afternoon. When the ball went on the road, he went to pick it up. At that time, a battery-powered easy bike hit Tushar. Tushar suffered a head injury and was seriously injured. Locals rescued him in a life-threatening condition and took him to Damurhuda Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. Damurhuda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Humayun Kabir confirmed the incident and said that police were sent to the spot after receiving information. Further legal action is under process.
