    The price of gold has decreased.

    The price of gold has decreased in the domestic market. The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has reduced the price due to the decrease in the price of acid gold (pure gold) in the local market. The price of one bhori (11.664 grams) of the best quality or 22-carat gold has been reduced by 1,155 taka to 1,53,370 taka.

    The new price will be implemented from tomorrow, Monday. The price of gold is 1,54,525 taka until Sunday. The decision to reduce this price was made in the meeting of the BAJUS Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring Committee. Later, the chairman of the committee, Masudur Rahman, gave this information in a notification signed by him.

    According to the new price, the price of one bhori of the best quality or 22-carat gold will be 1,53,370 taka. That is, the price has decreased by 1,155 taka. The price of one bhori of 21-carat gold has been reduced by 1,108 taka to 1,46,395 taka. The price of one 18-carat gold has been reduced by Tk 945 to Tk 1,25,481. The price of one 18-carat gold has been reduced by Tk 805 to Tk 1,3,401.

    The price of silver remains unchanged. The price of one 22-carat silver is Tk 2,578, the price of one 21-carat silver is Tk 2,449, the price of one 18-carat silver is Tk 2,111 and the price of one 18-carat silver is Tk 1,586.
