Bhutanese Ambassador meets Jamaat Ameer

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman was paid a courtesy call by Bhutanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Rinchen Kuensil. The meeting was held at Jamaat-e-Islami’s central office in Moghbazar in the Dhaka today.

During the meeting, the Jamaat Ameer and the Bhutanese Ambassador had an open discussion on various issues related to the interests of Bangladesh and Bhutan. During the discussion, both countries expressed their strong commitment to continue the bilateral relations and the trend of development and progress in all fields.

Also present at the time were Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Professor Mujibur Rahman, Dr. Syed Abdullah Md. Taher, Assistant Secretary General Maulana ATM Masum, Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Advocate Moazzam Hossain Helal and Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, Central Executive Council Member Mubarak Hossain, Central Executive Council Member and Amir of Dhaka Metropolitan South Nurul Islam Bulbul and Amir of Dhaka Metropolitan North Muhammad Selim Uddin.
