    Gold prices have increased again

    The Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has announced a hike in the price of gold in the country’s market. The new price has been increased by a maximum of 2,823 taka per bhori.

    BAJUS announced this information in a notification on Saturday evening. The new price of gold will be effective from tomorrow, Sunday.

    According to the new price, good quality gold, i.e. 22 carats per bhori (11.664 grams) will be sold at 1,42,266 taka, 21 carats at 1,35,804 taka, 18 carats at 1,16,395 taka and traditional gold at 95,645 taka.

    Last November 21, BAJUS announced an increase in the price of gold in the country’s market. Earlier, an announcement was made to increase the price of gold on November 19. However, the price of gold was reduced on November 14, 12, 7 and 4.
