No other father’s son can stop me

Former BNP co-international affairs secretary Barrister Rumin Farhana, who was expelled from the party, said, “If I can stay away from Hasina for five years with my eyes closed, then no other father’s son can stop me.” He said these words while interacting with voters at Kuchni Budh village in Sarail upazila of Brahmanbaria-2 (part of Sarail, Ashuganj and Bijoynagar) on Tuesday afternoon (January 6).
He also said that candidates used to have to pay rent for seats, now they have to listen to rice or date palm trees. After coming to power, it is not right to earn 2 billion taka in 2 months through extortion and tricks. Taking over other people’s businesses, removing sand, filling up soil – these are not right. If you do these things, people will leave. People don’t say anything, when people say they know, Hasina understood on August 5 what happens when people wake up. I will continue to speak the truth as long as I live. I will speak out against anyone who does wrong.
