Israel has violated the ceasefire 194 times since it began

The Israeli army has violated the ceasefire in Gaza at least 194 times since it began on October 10, the Palestinian government media office said on Sunday (November 2).
The organization’s director, Ismail al-Thawabteh, said in an interview with the Anadolu news agency that the violations include military incursions across the so-called “yellow line”, shooting and shelling, airstrikes, demolitions and blocking the entry of medical supplies, medicines, tents and mobile homes into Gaza. Thawabteh said that “since the agreement came into force, the occupying forces have violated it 194 times against the Palestinian people. We hoped that the agreement would bring some relief, but it did not,”
He added that his office was submitting daily reports to international mediators about the violations. He added that Israeli forces are repeatedly sending vehicles across the “yellow line” into residential areas, attacking civilian areas, and many people are being killed in these attacks. Warning Palestinians, Thawabteh said that approaching the “yellow line” is dangerous, as Israel has killed civilians there before without warning.
The media office reported that the ceasefire protocol called for the entry of hundreds of heavy equipment to recover bodies trapped under the rubble. But in reality, this has not been implemented; a limited amount of equipment has been allowed to enter to recover the bodies of Israeli prisoners.
The office reported, citing Israeli media, that about 9,500 Palestinians are still missing or dead under the rubble. The protocol also called for the entry of more than 300,000 tents and mobile homes for displaced families, but Israel has not implemented this. As a result, some 288,000 Palestinian families are now living on the streets or in open spaces. According to the Gaza government, the occupation forces have so far destroyed about 90 percent of the territory’s civilian infrastructure, causing initial damage estimated at around $70 billion. Thawabteh alleged that Israel is deliberately exacerbating the humanitarian crisis and has blocked more than 6,000 aid trucks heading to Egypt at the Rafah border.
