Iranian railway bridge damaged by US attack reopens

The Ak Qala railway bridge damaged by the US attack was repaired by local engineers in Iran within just 24 hours. As a result, train traffic has resumed safely. Pakistani media outlet Dawn News reported this information in a report today, Wednesday (July 15).
Quoting the relevant Iranian authorities, Dawn reported that after the attack, the extent of the damage was quickly assessed and repair work started. The bridge was made usable again within a short time with the efforts of local experts.
The authorities claimed that engineers and technical staff worked urgently to maintain rail communication. After the repair, safety checks were completed and trains were allowed to run on that route. Earlier, when the Ak Qala railway bridge was damaged in the US attack, rail traffic on that route was temporarily stopped.
