Homeopathic medicines worth Tk 8 lakh seized in Benapole

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has seized homeopathic medicines worth Tk 8 lakh 8 thousand without their owners during a raid in the Benapole ICP border area of ​​Sharsha upazila of Jessore. Lieutenant Colonel Saifullah Siddiqui, commander of Jessore-49 BGB battalion, gave this information on Saturday (November 01) morning.
He said that based on a secret tip-off, BGB seized a huge consignment of Indian homeopathic medicines worth Tk 8 lakh 88 thousand during an anti-smuggling operation in the Benapole ICP border area. The value of the seized medicines is Tk 8 lakh 88 thousand.
Commander Lieutenant Colonel Saifullah Siddiqui said that no smuggler could be arrested at that time. He said that such operations against smugglers in the border area will continue.
