A small country called India is a big supporter of Israel: Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly opposed US Vice President JD Vance’s statement that the US is Israel’s only strong ally. Referring to India’s strong support, he made it clear that Israel has many other friends in the world and the country is receiving ‘incredible’ support from India’s 1.4 billion people.
Benjamin Netanyahu made these comments in a recent interview with US media Fox News. The leader, who is facing severe criticism from the world over due to Israeli military operations in Gaza, Iran and Lebanon, has used India’s position as a big shield.
In the interview, he said, “We have some other friends, like a small country called India. 1.4 billion people live there and we are receiving incredible support from the ordinary people of the country. Especially on the social media platform Facebook, there is huge support for Israel from Indians.
The Israeli prime minister has called US President Donald Trump Israel’s ‘greatest friend’ in the history of the White House and expressed his respect for Vice President J.D. Vance. However, he made it clear that respect does not mean he has to agree with everything Vance says. Anti-Israel or anti-Semitic propaganda has now become a fashion on social media in many countries around the world. But the picture behind the scenes is completely different. Top leaders of many countries have called him personally to sign various bilateral agreements and to teach tactics to the Israeli army.
At a press conference held at the White House a few weeks ago, J.D. Vance warned Israel that it should not antagonize its only remaining powerful ally in the world (the United States).
Vance made these comments while supporting a memorandum of understanding signed by the United States last month to end the war with Iran. Although the US-Iran deal was supposed to withdraw Israeli troops from Lebanon, Israel has not yet accepted it. In this context, Netanyahu claimed that several Christian villages in southern Lebanon have requested to join Israel to escape Hezbollah, which is why they are staying there. However, whatever the situation in Lebanon, the Israeli Prime Minister directly rejected JD Vance’s claim about the US’s monopoly on diplomatic affairs, mentioning India.
