Qatar more dangerous than Iran: Former Israeli PM

Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will officially declare Qatar an ‘enemy state’ if he returns to power. He claims that Qatar is currently ‘more dangerous than Iran’ for Israel. He made these remarks in an interview with Israeli television channel ‘Channel 12’.
According to him, not declaring Qatar this way until now is an ‘unforgivable mistake’. He said, ‘Iran openly says that they want to destroy Israel. But Qatar financed the ‘Nukhba terrorists’ in the attack of October 7, 2023. In addition, Al Jazeera, which is operated from Qatar, is one of the media outlets that is spreading the most poisonous propaganda against us.’
Bennett also alleged that Qatar is exerting influence on various universities in the United States. He claimed that Qatar’s influence has reached the most important place for Israeli security – the Prime Minister’s Office. “Qatar is working against us and weakening us from within,” he said.
