At least 3 people have been killed in a shooting at the popular ‘Bite of Seattle’ food festival in Seattle, Washington. Four others were seriously injured in the incident. The incident took place at the Seattle Center on Sunday evening (July 26) local time.
Seattle police said that an initial investigation revealed that two people opened fire at each other. Two firearms were recovered from the scene. The injured were rushed to Harborview Medical Center. One of them is in critical condition.

Many people were almost trampled while running for their lives. 25-year-old witness Estan Wakonabo said that the festival was so crowded from the beginning that it was difficult to move. He added that when he returned to the scene, he saw several people lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. The body of one of them was covered with a yellow sheet. Videos circulating on social media also showed scenes of rush and chaos at the festival site after the shooting.
Police have arrested one suspect after the attack. However, another is still at large. Police are investigating the incident and are trying to arrest the fugitive suspect.
