Today is the first working day of the acting President

The first working day of acting President Hafiz Uddin Ahmed has started with a busy schedule. Today, Sunday (July 26), he will start his activities by paying tribute to the martyrs of the great liberation war by laying a wreath at the National Memorial in Savar at 11 am.
Later, Hafiz Uddin Ahmed will pay tribute to the tombs of late President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital at 12:30 pm. It is learned that after the formal program, the President will conduct regular official activities at Bangabhaban at noon.
In addition, the newly-outgoing President Md. Shahabuddin is scheduled to leave Bangabhaban by noon. He will go to his own flat in Gulshan. All preparations have already been completed there too.
