According to sources, Mamata Banerjee will go to the protest site to express solidarity with the students participating in the movement. A senior Trinamool leader, who did not want to be named, said, “Mamata Banerjee will join the CJP’s movement in Delhi on Monday.”
The ongoing movement in Delhi has already become one of the largest student movements in recent times. According to political analysts, Mamata’s participation in it may also be an attempt to further strengthen the political position of the Trinamool Congress. This move is seen as an indication of the party’s proactive role, especially after some recent setbacks in Parliament and the West Bengal Assembly.
Meanwhile, Mamata wrote on social media, “I have stood firmly with the students and their movement since the beginning. Their fight is not just for justice in the NEET scandal, but also to protect the future of every youth of the country.
