Iran strikes Kuwait’s power and water treatment plants again
Iran has once again attacked Kuwait’s power and water treatment plants. The Kuwaiti government said that the series of Iranian attacks has caused extensive damage to these critical infrastructures in the country.
Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy confirmed in a statement on Tuesday (July 21) that such attacks have been carried out for four consecutive days, resulting in severe fires in several sensitive areas.
The ministry also said that the rapidly spreading fire has been brought under control. Work is currently underway to fully assess the damage and to quickly repair the damaged facilities.
