Capital may flood again

Heavy to very heavy rainfall that began in seven divisions of the country including Dhaka from Monday (July 20) morning may continue for the next two days. Due to very heavy rainfall during this time, the capital Dhaka may be flooded. This information was given by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Monday (July 20).
A warning signed by Meteorologist Dr. Md. Omar Faruk said that there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in large areas of the country from today (July 20) morning due to the influence of active monsoon winds.
Heavy rainfall may continue in various places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Sylhet divisions for the next 48 hours from 11 am today. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has also warned that temporary waterlogging may occur in Dhaka metropolis due to heavy rainfall.
