3 Burned in Gas Line Explosion in Keraniganj

Three workers were burned in a pipeline explosion while working on a gas line at a house in the Baraitala area of ​​Keraniganj in the capital. Three workers were brought to the emergency department of the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute at around 5 am today (July 11) Saturday (July 11) in a burnt condition.
The injured are Rakib (14), Rajan (25) and Suman (27). They have been admitted to the emergency department of the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute. Doctors said that all three are currently out of danger.
Sajeeb, a colleague who was with the burned people, said that they were working on a gas line at Arif Mia’s house in the Baraitala area of ​​Keraniganj last Friday night. At one stage of the work, the pipeline suddenly exploded. Rakib, Rajan and Suman were burned. Later, other colleagues quickly rescued them and brought them to the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute.
Dr. Shaon Bin Rahman, resident physician at the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute, said that about 17 percent of the injured Rakib’s body was burned. The extent of the burns of the other two workers, Rajan and Sumon, is relatively minor. However, it is not possible to determine the exact extent of the burns at this time as their bodies are still bandaged. Despite this, he said that the condition of all three is currently out of danger.
Md. Farooq, acting inspector of the police camp at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, confirmed the truth of the incident, quoting doctors. He said that the injured have informed the police of the concerned police station about the incident and necessary legal proceedings are underway.
