Students have lunch with the Prime Minister in Parliament

The Prime Minister and Parliament Leader Tarique Rahman had lunch with students and teachers from various educational institutions who came to watch the Parliament session. The lunch was organized at the VIP cafeteria of the National Parliament Building this Sunday (June 28) afternoon.
29 students of the Law Department of the Canadian University of Bangladesh, 21 underprivileged students and teachers of the Mass Literacy Campaign’s associate organization ‘Survi’, and 16 representatives of the Tejgaon College Debating Society, who came to visit the Parliament Building and observe the session, participated in the lunch.
During this time, the Prime Minister inquired about the students and spoke to them on various issues. She said that along with studies, importance should be given to sports and they should develop themselves as competent, skilled and good citizens. The Prime Minister said that the current generation is the future of the country. Therefore, students should be prepared to build a developed and prosperous Bangladesh.
The students and teachers expressed their gratitude and thanks to the Prime Minister for giving them the opportunity to participate in the luncheon hosted by the Prime Minister. On this day, as part of the Parliament Building Visit Program, the students got an idea of ​​the various activities of the Parliament Secretariat, visited the Parliament Library, had the opportunity to take photographs in the North Courtyard, and witnessed the proceedings of the Parliament in the Parliament Chamber.
