9 children die of measles symptoms in 24 hours, 945 people infected

In the country, 9 more children have died of measles symptoms in the last 24 hours till 8 am today, Thursday. During this period, 945 children have been infected with measles and measles symptoms. This information was given in the updated report on measles by the Directorate General of Health Services on Thursday (June 25) afternoon.
The notification said that 9 more children have died of measles symptoms in the country in the last 24 hours. However, no child’s death was definitely due to measles. Along with this, a total of 605 children have died of measles symptoms across the country since March 15. And 93 more children have died due to measles. That is, a total of 698 children have died of measles and measles symptoms during this period.
In addition, 52 children have been infected with measles in the last 24 hours and the number of patients with measles symptoms is 893. During this period, 860 children have been newly admitted to the hospital and 906 children have been discharged from the hospital.
According to the Health Department, the total number of suspected measles cases since March 15 is 96,653 and the number of confirmed measles cases is 11,442. Of these, a total of 80,497 patients were hospitalized, of whom 76,788 have already been discharged from the hospital and returned home.
