Two drug dealers arrested with 2,000 pieces of narcotic injections

In a special operation in Hili, Dinajpur, police have arrested two drug dealers named Suraj Khan and Rabiul Islam with 2,000 pieces of narcotic injections. They were arrested from the checkpost road in Hili early on Sunday (May 24). A case was filed against them and sent to court on the same day. The arrested Suraj Khan is the son of deceased Azad Khan of Hili’s North Basudebpur area, and Rabiul Islam is the son of deceased Hasan Ali of the same area.
Hakimpur Police Station OC Zakir Hossain said, “We received information that a consignment of drugs from India was being traded in Hili’s North Basudebpur area after entering the country. Based on this information, a police patrol team conducted a raid there. Suraj and Rabiul were arrested when they tried to escape after sensing the presence of the police. At that time, 2,000 pieces of narcotic injections were recovered from the bag they were carrying.” “One of them escaped.” The OC said that a case was filed against them in this incident and sent to court on Sunday afternoon.
