Police to quickly investigate Ramisa murder case and submit report: Home Minister
The police will quickly investigate the murder case of seven-year-old Ramisa in Pallavi in the capital and submit a report, said Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed. He claimed that the accused have been arrested quickly in all the rape-like incidents that have occurred since the current government came to power. Law enforcement agencies have arrested the accused within 24 hours of Ramisa’s murder. According to the statements given by the accused in 64 cases, it will not take much time to complete the investigation.
He told reporters at the Secretariat on Thursday (May 21) afternoon. Salahuddin Ahmed also spoke about the controversial Tonu murder case in Comilla. Regarding this case, he said that another person is known to be involved in the Tonu murder case.
Meanwhile, on the issue of West Bengal’s citizenship, Bangladesh’s Home Minister said that what is happening in West Bengal, India, is their internal matter. However, the BGB is vigilant to prevent illegal infiltration at the border. Whatever is needed is being done to ensure public safety across the country.
