Sacrifice waste to be removed within 8 hours: DSCC Administrator

Sacrifice waste will be removed within 8 hours, said Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Administrator Abdus Salam. He said this while inaugurating the beautification and landscaping work of STS vegetable garden in Ward No. 19 on Old Elephant Road in the capital on Wednesday (May 20) morning.
The DSCC Administrator said that there will be a control room, a doctor and police patrols at each market. So that people can come to the market and shop without any problem. The waste from the livestock market will be cleaned as soon as the market is over. He said that a ward-based survey is being conducted to prevent dengue. Advance measures will be taken after reviewing the results of the survey. This will make it possible to control the outbreak of dengue and chikungunya.
