President returns home after treatment

President Md. Shahabuddin has returned home after undergoing medical check-up and treatment in London. He returned home on Monday (May 18) morning. This information was confirmed by the Press Wing of Bangabhaban. On May 9, President Md. Shahabuddin went to London for medical check-up and treatment.
The President was seen off at the airport by Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Md. Asaduzzaman, Dean of Diplomatic Corps Yusuf S. Y. Ramzan, High Commissioner to the UK Sarah Cook, senior officials of the Prime Minister and President’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The President was accompanied by family members, doctors, staff nurses and concerned officers and employees of Bangabhaban. Last October, President Md. Shahabuddin underwent cardiac bypass surgery in Singapore. On the advice of doctors, he underwent the necessary health check-up at a specialized hospital in the UK.
