Iran warns UAE that patience has limits

Amid rising regional tensions, Iran has issued a stern warning to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Expressing deep concern over Abu Dhabi’s growing ties with Israel, Tehran has made it clear that despite its long-standing restraint, there are limits to its patience. Mohsen Rezaei, an influential policymaker and current secretary of the Expediency Council, gave the warning in an interview with Iran’s semi-official ISNA news agency.
The former top commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that Tehran has not yet completely closed the door to friendship with the UAE. However, the Emirates should remember that the situation could be different if Iran’s wall of patience collapses. Mohsen Rezaei has directly warned the UAE about deepening ties with Israel. “We are well aware that there are various types of communication and transactions going on between the UAE and Israel, both behind the scenes and openly. However, our advice to the Emirates is that they should not be part of any Israeli trap or conspiracy in any way,” he said.
International analysts consider the statement of this top Iranian official to be very significant in the context of recent regional conflicts and geopolitical instability. According to them, through this message, Iran has reminded the Emirates that Tehran will not compromise on the increase in Israeli influence in the Middle East.
