6 more children die with measles and symptoms

Six more children have died with measles and symptoms across the country in the last 24 hours. Of these, 5 children died with measles symptoms and 1 child died of confirmed measles. This information was given by the Health Emergency Operations Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (May 17) afternoon.
It said that 5 people and 1 child died of measles across the country in the last 24 hours. During this period, 243 children have been infected with confirmed measles and 1,274 children have been infected with suspected measles.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services, a total of 459 children have died with measles and symptoms since March 15. Of these, 75 have died of confirmed measles and 384 children with measles symptoms. At the same time, 7,767 children have been infected with confirmed measles (proven in tests). And 57,846 children have been admitted to hospitals with suspected measles.
