Body of student Jamil killed in US on way to Bangladesh

The body of student Jamil Ahmed Limon, who was killed in the US, has left for Bangladesh. The process of handing over the body of another student, Nahida Bristhi, is also in the final stages. The plane carrying the body of the deceased Jamil left from Orlando International Airport in Florida on Saturday (May 2). Jamil’s body will reach Bangladesh via Dubai on Monday.
The Bangladesh Embassy in Washington, the Bangladesh Consulate in Miami, university authorities, family and expatriates have completed all legal procedures for the handover of the two bodies. The Bangladesh Embassy and Consulate General in Washington are also taking steps to send the body of Nahida Bristhi to Bangladesh as soon as possible.
It is worth noting that Jamil Ahmed Limon and Nahida Sultana Bristhi went missing on April 16. It was later confirmed that both were murdered. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said Jamil’s roommate, Hisham Abu Gharbia, has been arrested.
